“You just cannot give up on yourself. You cannot doubt yourself and you can’t say: «Well, because I have Sickle cell, I can’t do this or that.» No, you can! This is your life.” ​

Tyler loves to make everybody smile. Living with sickle cell disease, he understood the importance of a caring healthcare team. This made him discover his vocation: becoming a nurse practitioner with the aspiration of, one day, running his own haematology clinic. By pursuing his dreams, he wants also to show the world that those living with sickle cell disease can live their life, travelling the world and taking care of their health at the same time.
